Zambian Government Completes $14 Million Earth Receiving Station Ahead of Satellite Launch

The government of Zambia has reportedly successfully completed the construction of the Earth Receiving Station in Chibombo District, marking a significant milestone in the country’s space program. Minister of Technology and Science, Felix Mutati, reportedly announced that over $14 million USD has been invested in the development of this crucial infrastructure.

Located in the 10 Miles area of Chibombo District, the Earth Receiving Station is set to play a pivotal role in the country’s space exploration efforts, particularly with the impending launch of the nation’s first satellite.
