Western Sahara: Secretary General participates in the Eleventh Conference of the Turkish Patriotic Party

Member of the National Secretariat, Secretary General of the Sakia El Hamra and Valley of Gold Workers Union, Mr. Salama Al-Bashir, participates in the Turkish capital, Ankara, in the works of the 11th Congress of the Turkish National Party.

The conference was opened on Saturday in one of the large halls in the center of the Turkish capital and will continue until the 28th of this month.

The Turkish National Party, known for its anti-colonial, imperialist and reactionary stances, called for respecting peoples’ rights and self-determination, while confronting the reactionary imperialist alliance.

In his speech to the two congresses, the head of the party, Mr. Doku Abrenchko, mentioned the Saharawi people and their struggle against colonialism and reaction, calling for respect for their rights.

During the evening, the party leader and his staff held a meeting with the delegations participating in this conference, where he mentioned the importance of the Polisario Front’s participation and the need to respect the right of the African Sahrawi people.

In this context, Mr. Salama Al-Bashir expressed the appreciation of the Sahrawi people and its National Revolutionary and Progressive Organization, the Popular Front, for this kind invitation to attend the Turkish National Party conference, calling for more cooperation and strengthening the ties that unite us.

The representative of the Polisario Front at this conference conveyed to the party leader the congratulations and wishes of the Secretary-General of the Front, inviting him to visit the Sahrawi country and participate in the sixteenth conference of the Polisario Front, to be organized in mid-January 2023.

On the second day of the Turkish Patriotic Party conference, in the presence of 1,200 participants, the message of the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Front, Mr. Ibrahim Ghali, addressed to the conference was read.
