Togo: The Republic Welcomes The New Ambassador Of Canada

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Togolese Abroad, Professor Robert Dussey, announced this Saturday the reception of the letters of credence of the new Ambassador of Canada, Madame Martine Moreau, in Lomé.

Madam Martine Moreau, who received accreditation from Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo and currently resides in Ghana, presented a copy of her credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Togo.

“Cooperation between Togo and Canada continues to strengthen! Happy to consolidate the next dynamic phase,” declared the head of Togolese diplomacy.

Martine Moreau was appointed High Commissioner of Canada to the Republic of Ghana last October, and she also represents her country in Sierra Leone. This development marks a promising chapter in diplomatic relations between Togo and Canada.
