Rema, the ‘Calm Down’ Singer, Cancels December Shows Due to Health Reasons.

Nigerian music sensation Rema, known for his hit track “Calm Down,” recently made a heartbreaking announcement to his fans. The 23-year-old artist revealed on Instagram his decision to cancel all scheduled performances for December due to health concerns, emphasizing the need for time to focus on recuperation.

In the international music scene, Rema has made remarkable strides, setting records and gaining widespread recognition for his music. Notably, his electrifying performance at London’s O2 arena, which saw him enter the stage riding a carousel pony, became a standout moment. During this performance, Rema highlighted the issue of the Benin Bronzes, significant cultural artifacts looted by British colonialists in the 19th century, many of which remain housed in the British Museum.

Despite his recent successful show, Rema has called off his December tour dates scheduled for Nigerian cities such as Abuja, Benin, and Lagos. Additionally, he was slated to perform at the Hey Neighbour Festival in South Africa on December 9th.

There is uncertainty regarding ticket refunds for fans who had already purchased tickets for these now-canceled shows, raising questions about whether their tickets will be refunded or if t壯陽藥 hey will be honored for rescheduled performances in 2024.

Having received the first-ever Billboard Music Award for Best Afrobeats Song earlier in the month, Rema expressed gratitude to his fans and acknowledged the prize as a celebration of unity and the global prominence of Afrobeats.
