Rajoelina Secures Early Lead in Madagascar Election.

Incumbent President Andrey Rajoelina is currently lead犀利士 ing in Madagascar’s recent election, securing 62.4% of the vote, according to latest reports.

Following Rajoelina is Siteny Randrianasoloniaiko with 12.2% of the vote, trailed by ousted former President Marc Ravalomanana at 11.2%.

The electoral commission of the country disclosed that voter turnout stood at 43%, which was notably lower. Several opposition candidates who advocated for a boycott of the election have attributed this reduced participation rate.

Out of the twelve opposition candidates, ten chose to boycott the election, citing concerns regarding the fairness and credibility of the vote. In the lead-up to the election, opposition demonstrators organized protests and encountered clashes with law enforcement authorities.
