President inaugurates solar power plant in Ngapa, Mueda

The President of the Republic, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, today inaugurated the Photovoltaic Power Plant at Ngapa administrative post, Mueda district, in Cabo Delgado province.

The move is part of the government’s intention to guarantee access to electricity in rural areas by completing the electrification of all administrative posts in the country in its current five-year mandate, according to a statement that Noticias Online had access to today,

The Mozambican head of state was accompanied on his working visit by the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Ernesto Max Tonela, and staff from the Presidency of the Republic and other state institutions.
