Nile SLC, Zenith Energy Sign Midstream MoU in South Sudan

Nile Services and Logistics Company (Nile SLC), a subsidiary of South Sudan’s national oil company Nile Petroleum Corporation, and international energy production and development company Zenith Energy forged a strategic partnership in South Sudan with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) last week.

The collaboration focuses on jointly pursuing business opportunities related to the construction of fuel product storage tanks, pipelines, and crude oil storage facilities in South Sudan. Zenith Energy will contribute technical, financial, and managerial expertise, while Nile SLC will facilitate the identification of business opportunities.

“It is our view, supported by our progressive establishment in-country, that there exist many commercially attractive opportunities in South Sudan and that it is an attractive jurisdiction for foreign investors,” stated Andrea Cattaneo, CEO of Zenith Energy.

The partnership signifies a commitment to enhancing South Sudan’s energy infrastructure and strengthening midstream operations. The MoU is poised to play a key role in the nation’s sustainable development and growth in the energy sector.
