Nigeria: Tobi Amusan Bounces Back, Wins Third Diamond League Trophy

Nigerian track queen Tobi Amusan has won the 100m hurdles at the Diamond League in Eugene, Oregon, US.

This feat is her third consecutive Diamond League Title in the 100m Hurdle.

The Nigerian won the race after finishing in 12.33 seconds to upset Puerto Rico’s Jasmine Camacho-Quin who finished in 12.38 seconds.

The third position went to US Kendra Harrison.

The development is coming a few weeks after the Nigerian failed to defend her World title after finishing 6th in the final at the World Athletics Championship in Budapest.

At Budapest, Jamaica’s Danielle Williams won the title in a season-best of 12.43 seconds while Olympic champion, Puerto Rico’s Jasmine Camacho-Quinn came second in 12.44 seconds.
