MTN and Omniaudio Launch Zero-Rated Sports Radio Platform for Africa

MTN and media company Omniaudio have launched a “free-to-air” streaming sports radio platform that is zero-rated for data consumption. This new service allows users to access live and on-demand sports audio content without worrying about data costs, making it more accessible to sports fans across Africa.

Omniaudio offers a comprehensive range of sports content, including stories about African sportsmen and women, breaking news from East, West, and Sub-Saharan Africa, and an extensive library of on-demand shows. Users can tune in anytime, anywhere, without the need for a subscription. Additionally, listeners stand a chance to win cash, airtime, and other prizes by participating in interactive segments during each show.

This collaboration between MTN and Omniaudio marks a significant step forward in delivering sports content to a broader audience across the continent, ensuring that fans stay connected to their favorite sports without the burden of data costs.
