Morocco: Wydad Of Casablanca – The Ultras Winners Raise Their Voice Against Saïd Naciri

In a scathing press release, the Ultras Winners denounced the management of the club’s president, Saïd Naciri. They criticize him for “his unilateral management”, “the abandonment of the other sporting sections of the club” and the summer transfer window deemed not to meet the expectations of supporters, especially since the club is engaged on several fronts.

The Ultras Winners of Wydad de Casablanca are stepping up to the plate. They targeted, in a press release published on social networks, President Saïd Naciri . The Ultras criticize him, among other things, for abandoning the other sections of the club by focusing solely on football , while the WAC is an all-sports club . They wonder about the reasons which push Naciri to lead the steering committee of the WAC omnisports , if he takes no interest in the other sports sections of the club.

Wydad of Casablanca: Unilateral management, in the crosshairs
The titles collected in recent years by the WAC have not allowed Naciri to escape the discontent of the Ultras. The latter criticized what they call “its unilateral management”. They criticize him for taking important decisions unilaterally without referring to the member’s institution . “It is clear that important decisions must be approved by the general assembly. But Naciri had a different opinion. The Winners cite the example of the membership price maintained at 20,000 DH, while they ask to reduce it to 3,500 DH. The Ultras assure that this decision is that of Naciri and not that of the members since, they say, the institution of the member is absent.

Dissatisfaction with the Wydad summer transfer window
That’s not all. The Ultras also criticize the Reds’ transfer window, calling on the president to be more active in the final days of the transfer window in order to strengthen the team which, according to them, displayed weaknesses at the defensive and offensive level. And to drive the point home, the Winners assure that it is the president himself who weakens the club, by managing it unilaterally.
