Morocco: Ryanair Announces New London-Ouarzazate Route

The Irish company will launch flights from the British capital to Ouarzazate in Morocco, Belfast in Northern Ireland, Basel in Switzerland, OPoprad in Slovakia, Tirana in Albania, Treviso in Italy and Vigo in Spain. The move will increase capacity by 15% at the three London airports served by the company, namely Stansted, Gatwick and Luton, O’Leary said .

“To support this growing winter programme, we have based two new aircraft at Stansted, bringing our London fleet to 50 aircraft,” he said. Ryanair expects to carry more than 183 million passengers this year. It recently placed an order for 300 planes with Boeing, which is expected to bring its passenger numbers to more than 300 million.
