At 2 p.m. today, Ameenah Gurib-Fakim will host a press conference on the report of the commission of inquiry into the circumstances that led her to set up another commission of inquiry on her own.
The invitation to this conference suggests that the former president has already taken steps to challenge the report’s conclusions, something she said she would do as soon as it was published this year. Even if the press conference is held in the premises of Dev Sunnasy, in Rose-Hill, Ameenah Gurib-Fakim does not intend to join Linion Pep Morisien (LPM). “ These are my premises, not those of the party. I have known the former president for a long time,”explained Dev Sunnasy. He also specified that Me José Moirt, member of LPM, is the lawyer of the former president and that he will co-host the press conference.
