by admin-anb

The Ministry of Justice mourned the President of the West Nouakchott Court of Appeal, Judge Lamrabet Ould Al-Adil, who died last Wednesday.

The obituary statement stated that the Minister of Justice and all workers in his sector extend their “heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, wishing him mercy and forgiveness, and patience and solace for his family, and to God we belong and to Him we shall return.”

It was suspected that there were traces of strangulation and torture on the body of Ould Al-Adil, who was found dead in his home, and was referred for autopsy at the medical center in Nouakchott.

According to the autopsy report, the death was natural and resulted from heart failure, while his family demanded that they be given a copy of the report and waved that a counter-examination be conducted.
