Mauritania: The Minister Of Culture Honors The Pioneer Of Written Journalism In The Republic, Mohamed Abdel Rahman Azwin

Today, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Sayed Ahmed Ajeh, honored the pioneer of print journalism in Mauritania, our colleague Mohamed Abdel Rahman Ould Azouine, in a joint ceremony between the Mauritanian Channel and the Mauritanian Journalists Association.

Ould Zouein has been serving as Secretary-General of the International Network of Arab and African Journalists for two years, which is headquartered in the Swiss city of Lausanne.

Ould Al-Zouin is considered one of the pioneers of independent written journalism in Mauritania. He previously served as President of the Journalists Association for many years, and Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Journalists. He currently manages the website (Al-Safir) and the Al-Arqam Center for Media and Strategic Studies.
