President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani offered his condolences to his South African counterpart, Cyril Ramaphosa, for the victims of the fire that left dozens of victims in the city of Johannesburg.
In his condolence message to Ramaphosa, the families of the victims, and the general South African people, Ghazwani expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy.
He added that he wished a speedy recovery to all those injured, noting that he received the news “with great sadness and sorrow.”
The fire killed more than 70 people and injured dozens, and occurred in a building of several floors.
