Mauritania: Ould Achrouqa Renews State’s Support For Morocco After The “Al Haouz” Earthquake

The Minister of Petroleum, Nani Ould Achraouqa, participated this Tuesday morning in the third edition of the World Summit on Green Hydrogen and its Applications, held in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh.

Ould Achrouka confirmed that he arrived in the city of Marrakesh carrying a message of solidarity from President Mohamed Ould Sheikh Ghazouani, the Mauritanian government and people, to the Kingdom of Morocco following the painful earthquake tragedy that struck Moroccan cities.

The Minister expressed Mauritania’s solidarity and condolences to the King, government and people of the Kingdom of Morocco as a result of this painful disaster.

The Minister – during his intervention – stressed that he can “talk a lot about the issue of green hydrogen, given his long personal experience in the field, and given Mauritania’s great capabilities and the capabilities it possesses to produce it, but he does not want that to overshadow solidarity with the Moroccan people.”
