Libya: The Oil Emergency Committee Continues Meetings And Preparing Relief Convoys

The Emergency Committee formed by the National Oil Corporation, headed by Mohammed Balqasim bin Shatwan, held a meeting at the headquarters of the Arabian Gulf Oil Company, in the presence of Fouad Belrahim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Brega Oil Marketing Company.

The meeting was attended by Abdulaziz Al-Omda, Chairman of the Management Committee of the National Petroleum Construction Joint Stock Company, and Mustafa Hammad, Chairman of the Management Committee of Sirte Oil and Gas Company, in communication and coordination with Total, Eni and Robson.

In this meeting, contact was made with the supervisors of the urgent relief convoys, the rescue teams, and the medical crews currently present in the areas of Jabal Al Akhdar affected by the weather storm, to know and estimate the needs and emergency aid to be shipped within the relief convoys that the Emergency Committee began sending yesterday.
