Libya: Central Bank Initiates Air Bridge To Boost Liquidity – 180 Million Dinars Delivered To Eastern Bank Branches

The Central Bank of Libya’s liquidity team stated exclusively to Sada Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper about the arrival of 60 million dinars to the branches of Al-Wahda Bank in the east of the country.

This is within the framework of coordination between the Central Bank of Libya, Tripoli and Benghazi, and the launch of the air bridge this Tuesday morning to transfer liquidity to bank branches in the eastern region, after two flights arrived at Al-Abraq Airport in the city of Al-Bayda and Benina Airport, each carrying liquidity worth 60 million dinars for the branches of the Commercial Bank, noting that the value that arrived today is estimated at 180 million dinars.
