The World’s Largest Floating Book Fair Docks in Kenya’s Mombasa, Offering a Unique Reading Experience.


The MV Logos Hope, hosting over 5,000 books, has been anchored in Mombasa for seven weeks, providing a remarkable opportunity for local readers to explore its extensive collection.
The ship, which recently visited the Seychelles Islands, has welcomed visitors eager to discover something of interest among its diverse selection.


A staff member f犀利士 rom the MV Logos Hope’s advance preparation team expressed confidence in offering books for all who visit.
Media relations officer Alessandro Dal Casro highlighted partnerships with book suppliers that enable the ship to provide discounted and reasonably priced books.


The vessel’s volunteer crew, hailing from over 50 different nationalities, embarks on this unique global adventure, though it comes with the challenge of being away from home for extended periods.
The ship’s historic arrival in Kenya has been embraced by education-focused Kenyans as a novel way to promote literacy and learning.


The MV Logos Hope, operating since 1970, has visited over 200 ports worldwide and will continue its journey along Africa’s east coast, sharing knowledge and hope at each stop.
