Guinea Bissau: UNDP Opens First Innovation And Opportunities Center “KAU CRIAR” In The Country

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) will open this afternoon, in Cupelum de Cima, Bissau, the first Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Opportunities, called “Kau Criar”.

In addition to this Center, according to an Organization document distributed to the press, a virtual platform will also be presented to support and complement the physical space.

“Our aim is to provide a space to harness Guinea-Bissau’s vibrant entrepreneurial spirit, cultivate start-ups and promote the necessary capabilities that will generate multiplier effects across the nation and beyond”, the document reads.

It informs that the Center and the online Portal will offer various programs and services with the aim of accelerating the entrepreneurial development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), allowing them to contribute to the development of competitive, sustainable and resilient business.

UNDP urges people to join the initiative, not only to explore innovative ideas and contribute to the growth of innovative strategies, but also to take advantage of the resources and opportunities offered by the virtual platform to boost their entrepreneurial ambitions and make a lasting impact in Guinea -Bissau.
