Egypt: The National Women’s Association Is Implementing A Training Course To Prepare Trainers For The Family Counseling Program

Within the framework of the National Project for the Development of the Egyptian Family, the National Council for Women implemented a training course for trainers within the Family Guidance and Balanced Upbringing Program, in cooperation with the Egyptian Society of Members of the British Royal College of Pediatrics. The course continues during the period from 29 to 31 August 2023 in Minya Governorate, at the Abu Qurqas Center and the Mallawi Center. The Maghagha Center implemented 18 seminars over three days.

The training targets a number of male and female trainees from different governorates with the aim of qualifying them to participate in awareness campaigns and various activities, such as seminars, balanced upbringing camps, and courses for those about to get married, by developing their abilities in a number of topics such as pre-marital counseling, nutrition, breastfeeding, growth and development, integration, and disability. And positive education.

It is worth noting that the current training is the third cooperation between the Council and the Association in preparing a network of male and female trainers affiliated with the Family Guidance and Balanced Upbringing Program, which succeeded in reaching 145,000 families during its first and second phases within the framework of the awareness and cultural axis of the National Project for the Egyptian Family.
