Chad: 215,679 Registered In The Electoral Register In N’Djamena

The Minister of Women, National Solidarity, and Family, Amina Priscille Longoh, also Head of Mission of CONOREC for the city of N’Djamena, made a communication/assessment of enrollment activities on September 17, 2023 During the press briefing she convened, the minister suggested that the results went beyond expectations despite the difficulties of various kinds.

“For a target of 126,248, we achieved 215,679, which gives a percentage of 170.84%,” rejoices Amina Priscile Longoh.

“ The analysis we make of these results is that the population of our capital city is aware of the stakes of the upcoming referendum consultations and the elections which will follow. »

She takes the opportunity to thank and congratulate all those who have given themselves body and soul to achieve these results. In particular the provincial team coordinated by the general delegate of the government to the city of N’Djamena, the district teams, the recruitment agents and their supervisors, the civil society platforms, the women’s associations, those of the youth, people living with disabilities, as well as political parties who have provided decisive support in raising awareness and mobilizing populations.
