Central Africa Republic: Fruitful Exchanges Between President Touadera And The Russian Deputy Minister Of Defense On The Definitive Return Of Peace

The President of the Republic, His Excellency Professor Faustin Archange TOUADERA met this Saturday, August 2, 2023, at the city of CEMAC Heads of State with a delegation from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, led by his Deputy Minister Colonel-General Yanous Bek EVROUROV.

Colonel-General Yanous Bek EVROUROV announced at the end of this audience that the working visit of the Russian delegation to the Central African Republic is part of the continuation of discussions between President Faustin Archange TOUADERA and his Russian counterpart Vladimir PUTIN on the sidelines of the Russia-Africa summit which was held on July 29, 2023 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

The number two of the Russian Ministry of Defense praised the will and determination of President Faustin Archange TOUADERA to lead his country towards peace and real development. He said that discussions between the two parties also focused on strengthening relations in the economic field.
