Burkina Faso: The Christian Community Of Virtuous Women Brings Smiles To The Fallen Children Of The FDS

by admin-anb

The Christian Community of Virtuous Women (CCFV) in collaboration with the United Widows Association for the Development of Orphans (AVUEO) organized the 1st edition of the donation day called La Rencontre Aura Lieu (RAL). To this end, fallen FDS children received school kits to enable them to start the school year in style.

It is with a thought for the children of the heroes who fell for the homeland that the Christian Community of Virtuous Women (CCFV) initiated the day of giving called Back to School Aura Lieu (RAL).

“ What motivated this discount is this desire to see the people around us fulfilled. See people happy. Seeing people emerge together for the same vision. But also and above all pay tribute to these men who sacrificed themselves, who gave themselves for their nation.

Today, they are no longer here and it is a way for us to tell them wherever they are, what they left behind will continue to bear fruit, will continue to rise, will continue to grow. go from glory to glory. It is also a way of soothing the hearts of these distraught, confused widows, who ask themselves a thousand and one questions, how to ensure that the children can continue their schooling,” informed Christ Victoire Videgla, president of the Christian community of virtuous women.

For this first trial, 15 children benefited from this donation, mainly consisting of school supplies. It is to be believed that this gesture comforts these ladies who saw their head of family fallen for the homeland, to hear the lady Thiombiano née Zoungrana Eugenie, president of the association of widows of fallen soldiers.

Dame Thiombiano née Zoungrana Eugenie, president of the association of widows of fallen soldiers“ I often start saving my money for my children’s education well before the start of the school year. If it happens, we go to settle it, but if it’s not worth it, we go and give the little we have by hearing the gesture of the State, which often extends its hand to us. We really lack words to say thank you to these donors for this gesture, which has just removed a thorn in our feet ,” she expressed.

For the beneficiary of the day, Orlande Zongo, it is with all her heart that she receives these supplies. A student in 3rd grade, she lets it be known that this gesture will help her for the rest of her studies. “ I thank the community of virtuous women very much, God bless them. From where our dads are, they will bless them and give them grace. These supplies will allow me to study and be a future FDS ,” said Orlande Zongo.

Moreover, the community of virtuous women does not intend to limit itself there. She says she uses the means at hand to follow these children closely, for the interest of the nation.
