Through open collaboration with ecosystem partners in Benin, we contribute to the employability rate, improve education in the field of information and communication technology and skills transfer of the Pool.
Today, Huawei Benin has a local employability rate of 85%, i.e. more than 150 employees at the forefront with effective participation in Benin’s national digital strategy such as:

  • The Seed of the Future;
  • Huawei ICT Academy Program;
  • Support for industry with training for engineers in the field of employment;
  • The implementation of practical training sites such as the case of the UAC;
    Still in this perspective, the “Seed of the Future” project since its first edition in 2016 in Benin, has trained more than 100 students, the best of whom had the opportunity to do internships within Huawei Benin or in the Huawei partner structures. In July 2021, the ICT Academy was launched with (05) partner universities and has nearly 300 students registered on this platform and the courses most chosen by these students are: HCIA 5G, 5G Overview – Evolution of mobile communication, HCIA-Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity.
    The President of the Republic of Benin, HE Patrice TALON, during his state visit to China on the sidelines of the “China International Fair For Trade In Service” (CIFTIS) mentioned in his speech “Technological investments in progress with the HUAWEI Partner which will make Benin a world-class logistics hub”. This demonstrates the effective inclusion of Huawei Benin in projects with the Beninese government as a strategic partner to make Benin Revealed, a Digital Benin in West Africa.
