Angola: Petroleum Derivatives Regulatory Institute Holds Workshop On Butane Gas

The Petroleum Derivatives Regulatory Institute (IRDP) held, on Thursday, in the Albina Assis auditorium, at the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas (MIREMPET), in Luanda, a workshop under the theme “Everything about Butane Gas”.

The event was attended by the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, the municipal directors of Integrated Economic Development and Infrastructure and Spatial Planning, Jofre da Silva Baptista and Cláudio Revelas, respectively.

According to a Facebook note from the Municipal Administration of Luanda, during the opening session, the Secretary of State for Oil and Gas, José Barroso, reminded those present that Angola is self-sufficient in the production and distribution of domestic gas, requiring exercises of this kind to improve the quality of services, through the knowledge and experiences of the different operating institutions.

During the knowledge workshop, topics such as Regulation, Inspection and Characterization of the Gas Segment in Angola were also covered.
