Angola: ITEL students win second place in the World Robotics Championship

A group of students from the Telecommunications Institute (ITEL) won second place in the “Fast Global Challenge 2023” World Robotics Championship in Singapore, JA Online learned on Thursday in a statement.

In the competition, the young people, who recently completed the Medium Technical training courses at ITEL, demonstrated their skills in Electronics, Mechanics and Programming, being part of the team that brought pride to the Angolan Nation.

By achieving second place on the world stage, Angola solidified itself as the main nation of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) and SADC in this competition.

Furthermore, the achievement of first position in the “Social Media World” category reflects the positive impact that this victory is having on social networks, further increasing Angola’s international recognition in the field of robotics, the document states.
