Angola: Commander-in-Chief Directs National Security Council Meeting

The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, as Commander-in-Chief of the Angolan Armed Forces, is currently directing the work of the second ordinary meeting of the National Security Council, at the Presidential Palace.

The meeting addresses the country’s political-military situation, public security and human rights, and considers the National Security Bill, among other issues linked to the State’s intelligence and security services.
