Angola and USA talk about bilateral and regional cooperation

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, received, on Thursday, the ambassador of the United States of America accredited to Angola, Tulinabo Mushingi, with whom he discussed issues related to bilateral, regional and international cooperation.

On the occasion, Tulinabo Mushingi thanked the extraordinary support that the Angolan authorities granted to the Secretary of Defense of the United States of America, Lloyd Austin, during his recent visit to Angola, within the framework of strengthening cooperation in the Military and Security sector.

The diplomats also spoke about regional issues, focusing on the transition of the Government of the Gabonese Republic, the political situation in Rwanda and the DRC, and the contribution of SADC forces in the region.

In a press release, MIREX states that in the international arena the highlight was the Israeli-Palestinian and Russian-Ukrainian conflicts.
