Algeria: Belmadi – I Am Busy With The World Cup Qualifiers And The African Cup Finals

On Friday, the first technical officer in charge of the “Desert Warriors” battalion, Jamal Belmadi, arrived in the country.

Belmadi is preparing to lead the national team against Tanzania and Senegal, on September 7 and 12, respectively.

Belmadi said in media statements upon his arrival at El Houari Boumediene International Airport that he has now started thinking about the World Cup qualifiers that will start next November, and also the African Cup of Nations finals two months after that.

The national voter described the friendly confrontation against Senegal as a beneficial experience for his players, especially since the competitor is the champion of the African continent, and the confrontation will take place in his field, under an atmosphere almost similar to that prevailing in the “Cannes” theater in Côte d’Ivoire.

Regarding whether he had brought new players to the national team, Jamal Belmadi said that he did not think about the logic of the fans, who pay close attention to the list of players and basic elements. He added that focusing on drawing appropriate technical plans for the matches between Tanzania and Senegal, and squeezing the positives of these two matches, is more important for the future of the national elite.
