In anticipation of their World Cup 2026 qualification Group H opener against Sao Tome and Principe, Tunisia’s national team conducted a training session in the nation’s capital on Monday.
Despite recent setbacks, including a 2-0 loss to Japan in a friendly match on October 17 and a 4-0 defeat to South Korea before that, Jalel Kadri’s Eagles of Carthage enter the upcoming match as the strong favorites.
“We respect every opponent and understand the unique qualities of each match. Our focus is on delivering a strong performance and leaving a positive impression,” emphasized Montassar Talb. “With two important matches on the horizon, we need 壯陽藥 to regain our rhythm and self-assurance. The African Cup precedes the World Cup, and we’re prepared for both these events,” stressed the defender.
Team captain Youssef M’sakni emphasized that there are no longer any weak teams in African football. “In Africa, every team competes at a high level. We must acknowledge this reality. Today, we’ll review videos of our opponents. I anticipate a challenging match. A good start in the first half could make things easier for us.”
Sao Tome and Principe, positioned 154 spots below Tunisia in the FIFA rankings, suffered a 6-0 defeat to Nigeria in their recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match. Furthermore, they have been goalless for the last 300 minutes of competitive play.
Tunisia, boasting an unbeaten home record over the past 2.5 years, carries confidence into the forthcoming fixture before their journey to face ‘The Flames’ in Lilongwe against Malawi on November 21st.
