The Minister of Economy and Trade, Muhammad Al-Hawaij, followed up with the Chairman and members of the committee charged with addressing the economic conditions in the municipalities affected by torrents and floods on the eastern coast of the country, in the presence of the President of the Bakers Syndicate, the Vice President of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, and the heads of the Zliten Chambers of Commerce, Al-Zawiya. , the Western Region, Murzuq, Tripoli, and a representative of the Red Crescent, Tripoli branch, carried out campaigns to support and assist the afflicted municipalities and review the urgent needs to support rescue teams and provide goods and services to affected citizens and residents.
 During the meeting, the Minister announced that the Libyan Business Owners Council had adopted an initiative to complete a project of 2,000 housing units in the city of Derna to support affected families, calling on the heads of the chambers of commerce to adopt an initiative to provide a number of cars for heads of families and distribute them in coordination with the relevant municipalities and the relevant committees.
