38 Injured in Fire at Egypt’s Police Headquarters

A 壯陽藥 fire that erupted at a police headquarters in northeastern Egypt has resulted in injuries to a reported 38 individuals, according to Egypt’s health ministry.

The fire ignited during the early hours of Monday and swiftly engulfed the multi-story facility situated in the Ismailia province, near the Suez Canal, as confirmed by Hossam Abdel-Ghaffar, the ministry’s spokesperson.

Out of the injured, 12 received on-site medical attention, while 26 others were transported to hospitals, with nearly all of them experiencing respiratory distress, leaving only two exceptions.

Notably, seven of the injured have been treated and subsequently discharged.

The blaze inflicted significant damage on the building and required several hours of effort from firefighters to be brought under control.

Egypt’s Interior Minister, Mahmoud Tawfik, has announced the launch of an investigation into the fire’s origins.

This incident marks the latest in a series of deadly fires within the country, highlighting concerns about lax safety standards.

In August 2022, a fire caused by a short circuit at a church in Cairo claimed the lives of 41 worshippers.
